IMO, Pac himself is running out of gas. (Time-wise)
Soak him in come May, Could be his last in-ring appearance.

Cotto wont get past margarito in the rematch. I think pacs best options would be Bradley/Alexander winner or Martinez. He would get a lot of credit for fighting the bradley alexander winner, because they would be a "Slick African American Fighter" in their prime. But if he fought martinez and WON! Top 10 ATG no doubt.

Just like Tyson beat the crap out of Douglass.

    Oh wait...

He should fight some young up and comers instead of semi retired legends for once.

There are a lot of options for Pacquaio to keep him busy for several years and against guys who will make for good fights. I look for him to face Cotto later this year and then there are still the Mayweather and JMM fights as possiblities. Then there are the young guys at 140-147. Berto, Khan, Bradley, Alexander, and Alvarez. Those young guys would bend to all of Arum's demands to make a fight with Pac. There are no shortages of good fights for Pac as long as Arum doesn't insist on Top Rank only fighters.

Or he can stop claiming to be a WW and move down to 140 and conquer that division... bit since he is only fighting for money now how Arum is whoring him around trying to get the more bang for his buck.... we won't be seeing pac with any of the young lions of any division.

    Probably a cotto/margo rematch

in house fighters ,top prank have a shortage for him and then these two opponents will still have to fight him at a catch weight which is so dumb.

Pac really is. Of course there is the fight with Floyd. He could do Marquez b/c of the grudge match. And last but not least Martinez for the Middleweight Championship. 8 weeks at the wildcard, pac would need the focus he had when he fought ODLH, If Freddie could get that from Pac I would take Pac to win. Martinez is a good athlete, Pac is a better fighter. Martinez has a lot of bad habits that he could not get away with fighting Pac. Pac would have to stay in his chest.
