These posts are getting ridiculous. Pacman is a good fighter and fights top competition, but Hatton and Cotto don't get him number 2. He has to beat Mayweather and Mosley by knockout and then move up and beat Pavlik.

Pac beating PBF, IMO, would put him between 8-14.

PBF beating Pac, IMO, would put him between 10-18.

I just think Pac's resume is more impressive. His early fights are more impressive than Pac's early fights. While his later fights are not as impressive as Pacs.

fair...I wouldn't put either fighter that high..both are in my top 50 right now but a W over each other (depending on the fashion they did it too) would only gain them a few spots...Looking at the guys I have ahead of them though I think they could become much higher on an ATG list with a W over the other

Finito was the best flyweight of all time? That's news to me, and him. He never fought a single fight there.

You are quite right, Ali's resume does speak for itself & its a great resume. However, imo, Armstrong's resume also speaks for itself & I feel he was P4P, a better boxer than Ali!

I understand the point you make about HW's being some-what overlooked in P4P listings, but that's not my resoning for having Armstrong ahead of Ali!

As I said, the fact that there's no Charles at LHW OR Benny Leonard at LW shows this poll has NO credibility at all & cannot be taken seriously!

On a serious note, who the **** voted in this thing ? :huh

There is a lot wrong, only Ali, Duran, Gomez, Robinson & Lopez have the correct rankings, just about everyone else is in the wrong place.
Calzaghe & Mayweather are nowhere near the best at LHW & LW, they didnt spend enough time there for a start.

THATS your main problem with this list ? :huh

Plenty of respected lists have Ali over Armstrong & vice versa, they are always close together.... how about Pacquiao over Pep at FW or Pac over Ali period ?

    :-(

You can argue that Mayweather is the best 130 lber of all time, but the even in the top ten lightweights of all time is kinda ridiculous.
