Pacquiao is still a huge draw and has not slipped as much as people say

People talk about the Rios/Algieri fights bombing but remember they only bombed PPV wise. PPV is an american thing. The significance of their financial prowess comes from them being marketed and taking place in China. The 50 million views Algieri got in China flattens the viewship of any American fights, and this is the reason Pac is still pocketing 20 million a bout.

Saying Mayweather is 3x the draw Pac is because Maidana II did 3x the ppv is a very specious way of calculating things. In reality Pac is only slightly behind Mayweather as a draw.

Semi agree, its still a good turn out and maybe this will lead to the possibility of having boxing mega fights on regular TV to open up market.

Arum doesnt give two cares about the final PPV #'s on this...he's just trying to drum up interest in this sport in a totally untapped and massive market.

He probably got an insanely high site fee from the Venetian and delivered the greatest boxer of the generation against the "All-American boy" which is enough to get the Venetian interested to front enough bucks for his experiment.

Bob gives two f*cks about the PPV #'s war - he hasnt guaranteed $32M to anyone ;)

At the end of the day....only one man can fight Mayweather and guarantee the networks AT LEAST 2.5M ppv buys.

Extra emphasis on the AT LEAST. With all the years of hype and hoopla I think it'd do like 3.5 or something

There's a reason why Arum has been picking Macau. If there's anything Bob isn't stupid about, It's money.

exactly arum is not stupid about money he rather take low ppvs that come with fighting in china while getting more money (they get paid more when they fight in chin)

dont forget pac vs bradley 2 did 900 000 buys more then what duckweather did against maidana

The Arum-fanboys went on hiatus after KTFO6 for about half a year.

...Is there a connection, I wonder???

I'll just say there is a reason why Amir Khan, a famous UK fighter with no fan base in America, fights in the US.

There is a reason why Wladimir Klitschko, a famous Ukrainian fighter with no fan base in America, has fought and will be fighting in the US in '15.

The United States represents the lions' share of revenue in boxing...

At the end of the day its about revenue generated.
GGG can fight infront of 100 people in Monaco but if the fight is shown in 100 countries then theres money to be made.

Pac lost his killer instinct. He slipped a ton and past his prime. Closed to to shot im my opinion.
