And what's all this **** in this thread about Hatton 'nearly being killed' or having his 'life almost taken from him'? The man didn't train properly jumped in with his arms down and his chin out and got knocked the **** out - nothing more and nothing less. If he had employed the same reckless abandon with Floyd the fight wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. Sure Floyd would have still felt him out and not steamrolled him the way Manny did (getting tagged in the process - God bless steroids) but the result would have been the same. A quick KO.

Ricky probably did think that Manny was the toughest opponant he ever faced but then he was weight-drained, unprepared and on the slide having had his chin cracked by Mayweather and checked by Lazcano. In short he was at his weakest, ergo Manny appeared stronger.

Besides, he's a smackhead now and would likely sell his mother at the least say anything for a fix.

Depends on what you are valuing. He did say fighter and not boxer so maybe.

Mayweather fought and beat Hatton at his own game of inside fighting. I don't believe Pac could do such a thing. I don't think Pac is capable of allowing Hatton to smother him while still getting the best of him like Mayweather did.

At the same time Pac's offense is more deadly within his style and he would always control the pace vs Hatton making him more dangerous then Mayweather.

All around Mayweather is the better fighter, Pac is just more dangerous.
