i have to say some very good points (list of other fights at catchweight) and some very bad points (ANYTHING racial) so far in the thread. Personally I have a few quick points

1)if manny wants the belt, fight at 147. There are times catch weights have been used before so I get it. I just think if he wants it that badly, use the limit

2)he should not be ranked at all by the wbo. i know how it works: they bought a #1 ranking. to be honest, everyone does that so he's not alone. but it's bull****

3)no one is really gonna give a **** what weight it's fought at down the road. whoever wins, wins knowing the risks involved. by fight night cotto WILL have the major weight advantage. and yes, if he's gonna have to boil down to 145 he should bulk the **** up by fight time. that's a risk manny will have to take
