Pacquiao looked like micro Pac in there against Thurman. Massive size difference between the two men. And Pac looked tired and weathered and much softer in the body than he used to.

I would be very surprised if Pac can pull off the upset against a much larger and younger champion. But you can never count out Pac!

We've all seen Pacquiao do the impossible many times before. Boxing's only 8 division champ!!!!

I'm thinking that Thurman may actually go for the KO in the opening round. He has to make Pac feel his age. Pac better be ready. Ain't no feeling out process. If Pac gets blasted out, then he pretty much got old overnight.

I think they say that boxing is not all about a muscle-building contest. If that were the case, Bradley beats Pacquiao hands down.

Even Pac says that he is out to prove tonight that size and age doesn't matter. Let's see...

I seriously hope that Pac didn't overtrain. There's a video of Fortune telling Pac to stop, but Pac wanted to keep going.

Pacs experience won't allow him to get flustered tho.. Later rounds Thurman should turn it up

Agreed. He did the same versus Garcia. Put the fear of god into danny boy. Later on he eased off the gas and coasted to the win. Think the gameplan will be largely the same vs Pac. Pac might get folded early.

That's what Al's really hoping for. His strategy all along was to bring in smaller "name" fighters to feed to his welterweights so they could look impressive and fights between them would be that much bigger.

And, despite Pac's name and box office draw, he's easy to rob because he maintains his marketability even when he loses. We saw it with Bradley. We saw it with Horn. We saw the Broner cards being way closer than they should've been. And we'll see it tonight if the fight goes the distance. Manny's the bigger money fighter, but a Thurman win is more profitable in the long run.

I know it was quite a few years ago now, but Pacman beat up a monster welterweight in Antonio Margarito. Margarito looked like a decent sized middleweight in there against Manny. Manny also said that there was a moment in the fifth round when Margarito caught him with a body shot and he felt that he was in serious trouble. Lets hope that he retains some of that speed, perseverance and versatility in this fight and gives Keith a good go. I also believe that prime Margarito would've chased Keith out of the ring. Margarito gets a lot of flack about the 'illegal handwraps' but his chin, aggressive and all-out offensive style gave a lot of good welterweights a lot of trouble until his physical skills diminished. The physical beating Pacman gave him in the second half of their fight probably shortened Antonio's career by a few years.

It all depends on which versions of Pacquiao and Thurman show up to Fight Night!

i thought manny looked better in the weigh in than ive seen him in a very long time. he looks healthy, strong, and i saw no signs of trouble anywhere.
im thinking manny will get more credit than this particular victory deserves, but im not against that happening, he gets constantly shortchanged by fans of fighters hes faced. they cant get over the butthurt.
