Just watched it casually at home on my TV. Pacquiao looked much better than I remembered. Still had him losing handily, but he showed some tight reflexes, good counters, and moments of very effective footwork. Those two were really made for each other.
I described his performance when I watched it as being "like a wild caveman." JMM was P4P 5-ish, but was only 0-1 at welter and 38 years old. Past victories were Diaz and Katsidis, hardly comparable to Pacquiao. Everything on paper said: Pacquiao easily.
Yea, unfortunately those judges accept bribes by Bob Arum.:fire Whatever makes it right in your mind though..****ing *******.atsch
He had good counter right hooks and lead lefts. Some moments of good footwork. Definitely improved his defense (parries and dodges, never saw JMM missing entire combos on Pac that much). Everything else were either sucky or same old Pac. What I hated the most was he kept on pushing his "jab, jab, straight left" combination which were hitting nothing but air all night long.
:huh:huhRound 9, Juan Manuel Marquez looked like a slick fast boxer. He made Pacquiao miss and swing at air left and right. Not sure what you were watching...or are you being sarcastic. Making Pacquiao Miss [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk7G5E787zg[/ame] 2nd hardest punch in the fight came in round 4 less than 10 seconds left, from Marquez. LMFAO at round 9..."Sugar Juan Manuel Marque":rofl Hardest punch in the figt
IMO, Pacquiao did not look shop worn or past it at all. He looked like he was in there with his equal. Which is why I give Mayweather a big edge in this fight!
