Clottey high risk??? Easy fight for Pacquiao. You have a guy who will be all over you for 12 rounds each minute of those rounds against a guy who blocks punches and waits for his opponent to stop punching. A guy who for whatever reason fades away, constantly complains and has no punching power.

nuttin much dude, gettin ready to go to the jerry dome..........wasnt able to get my hair did but Im fresh and clean
and I know clottey is durable, but manny got angles galore, he is fast and akward..........I wont be devestated if clottey pulls off a win, even though Im a pac fan...both these guys are good fighters(although I would have to say pac is truly great) and good guys

I agree with your take on the matter. Too much to lose with nothing much to gain for Manny. Even if Manny wins, haters won't give credit because he is expected to win even though Manny is fighting a big, strong, legit top 5 welter contender and fighting in a division he is size-wise at a disadvantage.

But to be the first one to stop Clottey will be sweet!

Just the thinking from a lot of people that Pac will lose is what made Pac great. He beat the odds so many times.

I doubt he will lose. And if he loses to Clottey then he would not have beaten Mayweather. No matter what. Clottey is not a big puncher and has lost to Margarito and Cotto. The fight will be competitive in the ring, but Manny should win easily enough in competitive rounds. Sort of will be like a good sparring match. Busy but Manny will win a decision. If you guys think Manny is going to go to war and get busted up I do not think so.

Exactly. He's defending his title against an elite welterweight, the biggest and strongest man Pacquiao has ever faced. We should be praising him for being an old school fighter.

Lets see, ah yes Besides the fact Mayweather would have to submitted to the ER for uncontrollable laughter. This turns boxing on its head, Mayweather would become the undisputed p4p king, Clottey would shoot up into the top 5 overnight. This would be a national holiday in Ghana. The suicide count at Pacland would be staggering. Bob Arum will kill himself.

If this happens at least the sight of Arum jumping off the skybox will still bring great victory to the boxing world.
