lol "im not going to blame floyd it just didnt happen" it didnt happen cause manny was "afraid of needles" and felt "weakened when blood was drawn"....also because floyd didnt have a license, they didnt have an outdoor stadium built in time and manny had a cut that needed to heal....if we take away all of that the fight would have happened between 2010-2013
He also spread himself very thin, hard to remain dedicated when you are maintaining a marriage, fatherhood, a political career, dabbling in pro basketball, sponsorships, promotion AND maybe the biggest entourage of leeches and hangers-on a famous boxer has ever been cursed with.
i hate that excuse though....its really poor if you ask me.....if manny isnt on top of the boxing world there is no pro basketball, politics and other stuff.....boxing is where he makes his real money...its where his bread was buttered.....letting distractions take that away from you means you are weak imo....i know he wouldnt be the first....but its just stupidity.......and around the time of the cotto fight he wasnt exactly doing his best to maintain his marriage
It's like I've always said about Pacquiao. "You can't have your cake and eat it too" He's doing too many things at once and I don't blame him for losing his ***** so to speak.
Boxing is the hardest sport in the world plus somebody is punching you in the face while doing it. I can't blame someone who put in the work to reach the top if he loses his determination. Young hungry fighters both literal and figuritively hungry fighters are usually more motivated and vicious in the ring.
