Monterrey is a good venue, metropolitan enough to draw a high dollar crowd and centralized to get people from all over to go.......

Middle East I am assuming the UAE? Dubai maybe? Those cats got some serious money.

I agree, I think larger cities through out the world should be highlighted and utilized, boxing is global unlike alot of sports. I think it would also be great for fighters to get exposure in other areas outside of their native lands.

Using Margarito an Ali is the same paragraph is blasphemy and grounds for murder, literally. Ali stood for something, Margarito is a fake, lies about everything not just his scandal, but about who he is. Did you know is from Torrance, California? Did you know he speaks English just fine, but passess himself off as Mexican from Mexico, so he can cash in on all the idiot Mexican fans that see any fighter flaunt a Mexican flag and they are all ready to suck him off.

The guy is a phony in and out of the ring, **** him.......**** you too for posting that dumb ass **** that he is bieng discriminated "like Ali" What **** is wrong with you?.....:-(

Well, no ****. Showtime, ESPN and HBO aren't buying the fight. So, PPV is the only outlet if you want to watch the fight. Would it be better if there was no PPV option? At least this way the 1,000 people that will actually buy the fight will be able to see it at their house.

Doubt it would be in Israel

Too controversial/too high a chance of muslims blowing something up

Very likely to be in the UAE in my opinion

Problem is then though there's not much of a local fanbase. Promoters are relying on people to travel to the fight.

Because of this public pressure, I believe FMJ won't accept the proposal. He has some pride and does not want to be seen as agreeing because of this public pressure.
