It's crazy how we just saw Amir Khan who was unable to keep Maidana off him, and here you have Manny Pacquiao braking the will of a monster like Margarito

IMO shows how incredible Pac's offense really is.

 

Why not?

 

IMO I'd say Barrera (1), Marquez (2), Morales (3), Oscar, Hatton, Cotto all better performances than Margo overall.

 

Why do you rate Oscar as a better performance?

 

first fight against someone with that kind of size and frame... He won every second of every round against a pretty skilled fighter. Oscar was drained but Pacquiao was jumping up 2 weight classes (after just moving up a 3rd one). Pinpoint accuracy and timing, great footwork, never deviated from the gameplan, first time under that kind of spotlight, managed to stop his opponent.

 

Now you can really see why Mayweather doesn't really want to fight Pacquiao, man this little ninja is crazy

 

I think Pac looked rusty against Margo. Definitely wasnt the best version of Pac I've seen. I like his performance against Cotto the best.

 

hey look at the combination Pac lands at 6:05 in that video and how he gets out of the ropes. Seem like nothing but how often do we see Pac do that in training camp.

 

I agree that the Oscar performance trumps the Margarito performance, but for slightly different reasons...it troubled me a bit how much Pac got hit by Margarito. A month later, it still has me thinking...

 

Great video very well done. I saw this earlier.

 

Margarto is an offensive juggernaught himself. He didn't become a 3 time world champion on his defensive capabilities.
