Why would there be animosity?

LOL... like most of you guys, I'm not a fan of this match-up, but that was pretty awesome!

 

More spice having the trainers there, especially with Roach and his prediction. He looks uncomfortable.

 

Mostly because Manny believes that Margarito knew about the padding and because Margarito seemed genuinely pissed at Roach's KO remark. I didn't expect Manny to comment on the padding with them both being Top Rank fighters, surely something Arum would want to play down?

 

Nice, but Kellerman is still an idiot. HBO really should dump that clown.

 

It's well established that Manny is one of those dolls - you press a button on the back and he says random things. This is why they have Roach doing most of the talking.

 

In fairness, he is a politician.

 

In fairness English is not his language of choice

 

Perhaps if Floyd was one of these dolls he wouldn't be looking at prison time right now.

Roach has a habit of degrading Pacquiao's victories even before the opening bell. If Pacquiao beats Margarito as he is expected to do, the first thing Floyd's ardent support will be saying is, "It was a bull**** mismatch, look at the HBO Face off, even Manny's trainer said so".

 

That's true but he's just being humble. There is nothing wrong with not making bold statements like "I'll KO him in a few rounds..." etc.. Roach is there to do the trash talking for him.

Watch Pacquiao in the ring and listen to Roach trast talk. It's all good. :deal

 

"I saw your last two fights" was the perfect comeback for anything Margarito could say. Pac is going to humiliate him.
