Pacquiao-Margarito.Should i be worried?

pacquiao shouldn't be fighting guys this big and good. he's walking on thin ice.

 

marg is a flat footed slow come forward fighter with zero defense. emmanuel does his best against that style.

 

I'd be surprised if Pac can make it so one sided. I know Margo looked pretty bad in his last fight but he must have been rusty after the 'layoff'

 

He's never at any point in his career been good enough to beat a talent like current Pacquiao.

I don't see him doing anything in this fight but take a beating impressively.

 

He did beat one of your favorite fighters in Cotto. Though I believe Cotto should have won had he not gassed.

Regardless of the credibility of the win, Cotto quit while he was ahead to stop the onslaught.

 

You start off by saying should I be worried, say I'm 100% with Manny etc. Its pretty obvious who you are supporting.

But if you are starting to get worried about Manny fighting a slow, plodder, who stuggles with southpaws and has no jab then you clearly can't believe Pacquaio to be that great of a fighter.

The size for me means nothing. If Margarito doesn't have the jab, right hands and lead hooks to keep the smaller man away, he is losing in a big unanimous decision.

Anyone who bets a lot of cash on either guy should be nervous. This is not the mismatch the PBF fans want us to think it is.

 

Margarito does use his jab. You have no idea what you're talking about.

 

He doesn't use it to either keep people away from him or build his attacks off it. For a tall fighter that's not a jab that occasionally pawing away. Congratulations on being constructive.

 

What people sometimes forget is that fighters like Margo not only take a lot of damage during the fights but with their stile they suffer a lot in sparring. Margo was training and fighting like an animal all his life. He came in bad shape for the camp was getting his ass kicked by his sparing partners and had problems making the weight before the fight and they make him boil down to 145. That said Mosley was going to win anyway because he has the perfect stile to kick Margo ass. But Margo was probably going at least to make the distance.

 

Margarito uses his jab a ton to build attacks off of. You have no idea wtf you're talking about. MORE BS spilled on here.
