    Actually it's not a fact:patsch

Gary Russell is a young good prospect, but until he is tested we won't know how good he really is. Also both these fighters are at lower weight classes which means going by the history of the sport they are less likely to get attention than the higher weight classes, which means less ppv buys.

I doubt that very much. Floyd was p4p number 1 at the time, he had been tipped for years as the next big ppv attraction once del la hoya retires. He had just as much to do with the biggest fight in history as oscar did. Hence why no one has ever come close again to breaking the 2 mil mark, including oscar himself.

Someone above mentioned donaire and russel jr who both fight at the lower weightclasses this won't be enough to maintain the casual fans attention, as most of these fights will go unnoticed until they make their way up in weight and fight someone with a mainstream name.

Again Pacman shows how he is actually cash cow and gayweather is merely clown. "Money" just dont got the celebrity that Pacman got. while Gayweather has to act a part to get paid, Pacman is just himself and has been killing gayweather in PPV buys. This shows the pretender and genuine article. Pacman is just special, and people want to see his special "it factor", while gayweather's gay ass, people just want to see his **** pushed in.

No you are the dumbass. Think about it... of course Mosley vs Mayweather was going to do more... that fight had a whole year building up. Do you think that fight would've did anywhere near as much as it did IF Mosley hadn't interrupted Mayweathers post interview after his domination over a bloated LW, in Marquez? Do you think it would've did good if Mosley wasn't fresh off of the destruction of Margo? You have to look at the fights in the time frame that they occurred and what variables added to give it more attention, the intangibles that many don't see or consider. When you consider all these factors, the fight actually did poorly considering. Add on to all I said above is the fact that Mosley is quite popular among Mexican fans, it is without a question coming off a huge win and calling out Mayweather in front a million + of homes, created enough intrigue that this fight should've did nearly 2 mil buys.

So you are not looking at this the right way... Pacs fight vs Mosley actually did better considering. Mosley coming off a loss where he was completely dominated, looked shot, and couldn't pull the trigger. Pacman still gets over 1 mil buys... without the trash talk, without a lot of variables that Mayweather vs mosley did. This just shows how much Gayweather is just not on Pacmans level, and how Pacman actually holds the highest in PPV buys and is soon to be the highest gate revenues. No wonder Gayweather wants to cash out on Pacman. Get your head out of this guys ass, you may get AIDS.

deal with what? I'm happy it did it so good, any boxing fan that isn't happy about those #'s isn't a boxing fan! shame it had to be a robbery but still undeniably good for the sport.

U mad cause I laughed at you and your gay friends celebrating pacs win over hatton in that video posted

I know, it's sad. It's like the same 500k buy those terrible ppv's every time.
