just get over it. You have your opinion that's fine. Most of the neutral fans like me also think that JMM won but the fight was close so I can accept Pac wining. Do I have to make 20 threads with my score which was 116-112 JMM??
Just watched round 12 again, very close, but Marquez didn't land much of anything. Pac outworked him and seals it with a nice left hand at the end. Jim Lampley "Marquez is very conservative in the 12th round of a close fight. But again, I won't argue too much with anybody who had MArquez winning , that's not the point of this thread.
I have him winning the last 4 rounds. But that's your opinion , as I said in my original post, every round was close / fairly close except 5 and 11. Nobody was robbed.
What Lampley says is totally irrelevant. HBO bias is ridiculous, especially that night. The first two fights were close and could have gone either way, this one, however, was "close but clear" in JMM's favor.
bruh i watched this fight ALOT of times. i tried to watch it being biased towards pacquiao by giving him close rounds and i still end up with him losing. not bein a hater, just my opinion. your scorecard is pretty disgraceful like leddermans
You're making it worse with your insecurities. Give it up.. you'll still be in the same denial boat from here on and you know you're not changing your mind. Pointless thread.
It doesn't matter that Manny was the aggressor Marquez didnt just land the cleaner punches he landed the same or more. All Pacman did was throw more. Doesn't matter any way you see it. Marquez won. Pacman best just move on because they'll be an asterick to each Marquez fight he won controversially.
By that logic, every fight with a difference of 4 rounds can be considered going "either way." No matter how many times I watch it, I have Marquez winning, and committed Pacquiao fans seem to have it the other way, despite the public opinion at large that Marquez won the fight. If you win by a little, you win by a little, and I don't think Pacquiao had that bit consistently enough to win the rounds. I can't see it being one of those "it could have gone either way" fights. Rounds are always going to be competitive, but competitive rounds /=/ anyone's round.
yes i agree, let's move-on but i remember you having scored it a draw by yourself after watching it live. did you rewatched it and have marquez winning after?
It was close, like all have been, and yea I think a draw would of been a decent decision with Pacmans workrate, aggression, and his own clean punching. Most rounds were only 1,2, or 3 punches landed that made the difference. In those cases I dont have a problem someone calling them even. Manny was the champion, but let's be real a Marquez victory meant jeopordizing the biggest ppv in history. Even a draw would of jeopordized the superfight. As aI watched the replay it became even more clear Marquez won. I even counted shots for Manny that didn't look like they landed because he's so fast I'd rewind. Pacquiao should fight Floyd before Marquez. Jmm knows him too well.
You can't be serious? There is no possible way that was the end totals you came up with. How many times have you seen this fight? You need to watch this fight closely, and score it by pro rules governed by the state of Nevada. You are way off, and I'm sure everyone else will agree. My score after watching each and every round to the last second was Manny Pacquiao winning 11 rounds and Juan Manuel Marquez winning 1 round. Case closed!dealdealdealdeal:deal
