Pacquiao - Marquez III - No robbery

There are some disagreements by those who scored for Marquez as to which rounds he won......but dont forget that there are alot of neutral scorers who have said that some of the rounds they gave to Pacquiao were pity rounds. Rounds they gave him he probably did'nt really win but gave them to him anyways because they were closer than some of the previous rounds they scored against him.

HBO's own poll at press row had only 12% of boxing writers scoring for Pacquiao.
I can almost guarantee you that the 12% who scored for Pacquiao were mostly from their own bias HBO broadcast team, otherwise that number would have been even lower.

 

Couple of messages to the thread starter....

1. I haven`t read any posts in this thread because I know it will be bull****.

2. If you really believed pac won, you wouldn`t have felt the urge to make this thread, just get over it, JMM is the better boxer & pac can`t handle fighters that are better technically than him that refuse to fight him face first.

 

which is fine-I'm simply pointing out that most of the polls are in that 70-80 percent range for a win for JMM or a draw.:deal

Im not twisting my numbers-go to different websites and check for yourself-look at polls-check media #'s..Those are my sources-not just one poll although THE HBO POLL CAN REFLECT VERY CLOSELY WHAT THE CONSENSUS VIEW IS-

Plus the fans pouring out of the MGM were pissed off and MOST (Looked about 7 or 8 outta 10) had Pac losing.

I realize not every boxing fan scores it-but the FACT that POLLS show JMM winning or getting a draw by about 7-3 or 8-2 shows you...

As for the official scorecards-I don't know what happened their-Pac got a draw at best..but real fans know they just dont want Pac losing so the mega fight can happen and the money can be made:deal

 

also, a lot of pro judges scored it for JMM and advised the media in different interviews.

Pac simply got beat in this fight but they gave it to Pac cuz they didn't wanna mess up anything with the mega fight-

Pac got a draw AT BEST-I had it 8-4 for JMM and I was TRYING TO SCORE ROUNDS FOR PAC.

 

Yup...Even in my 9-3 score I felt the first round couls have been JMM because he landed the more telling shots, but were all to the body...and for some odd reason, Vegas judges don't count those.

 

I DID look at the fight fairly or else why would I have it a draw? Either ways I knew because of corrupt judging they would give it to Pacman. Just because its a close fight doesnt mean there isn't a clear winner c'mon bro you know that. When you got fellow pinoys disagreeing with you you know you gotta bring the fanboy deal down a notch. You can have an argument if Manny landed more, but it seemed they landed around the same. Compubox is still susceptible to human error. Just think its like a GPS it works great most of the time, but you don't trust it enough cuz you don't want to end up in a ditch.

i thought some fans say let's move on but it seems the jmm fans are more keen on bumping this thread up. at the end of the day, it's a close fight were pac's aggression earned him the official judges decision. no amount of whining from you guys can change that.

by the way i have it pac 115-113 and rewatched it a couple of times.

 

Earlier you said 80 out of 100 had Pac losing the fight. That's what I mean when I say you're not being honest and twisting the numbers. Now that I called you out you switched your words around.

 

Fights are scored on a round by round basis. Each round is an individual contest. those giving Pacquiao pity rounds probably don't really know how to score a fight in the first place. There are so many close rounds in this fight that could go either way, it shows it wasn't a robbery.
