atleast 4 rounds could have gone either way. But close rounds favor pac bec

    1. He is the champ
    2. He is the bigger name
    3. He is the harder puncher
    4. He is the aggressor

Also the most epic, round 9.
Problem is, Pac's connected punches were too sneaky, you really have to watch it on slowmo to understand why it was a close round.
JMM was exhausted after that round, Pac can still go for another 3 minutes without resting.

    Close rounds favor Marquez because

    1. Taking a belt from the champ is an expression used to convey the fact that a champion keeps his title in a draw, and loses it only in defeat; not that a champion gets the edge in close rounds.
    2. Names don't throw punches, and don't win rounds
    3. Who punches harder is merely academic when one boxer is landing much cleaner than the other more consistently.
    4. Aggression only works when effective, and Pacquiao was nullified and even backed up by moments of Marquez's aggression in many many rounds.

round 8 could have gone either way.. 115-113 for pac. the champ did enough to retain his belt!

I've just seen 12 in slow motion. This round was very clearly Pac. Pac landed a few clean punches in that fight, made JMM miss a lot, JMM landed 2 clean at most.

Round 4 is also hard to split. The judges gave it to marquez but pacquiao did the more damage
