i know it would never happen, but imagine how big boxing would be at the olympics if the pro's were allowed to return to amateur rules to compete...the interest would be huge.

As long as US basketball sends NBA superstars in the olympics.... basketball will always get the limelight.
Even if it was legal, most (if not all) of these guys wouldn't do it. 1. No money involved. 2. You have to qualify for the Olympics, which means you have to fight in qualification tournaments, none of those guys, who are used to having a fight every few months would bother with that. 3. You can't cherrypick your opponents, you have to fight whoever you are drawn against,
pro boxer on olympics .... picture them with a head gear and fighting on olympic point system .... do you really wanna watch them in olympic games?
