Everyone laughed too when Roach said Pacman would stop DLH and knock out Hatton within 3...

It won't be a first round KO, but it won't be double digits. I say Cotto's defence crumbles under the pressure around round 7. There's just no way he is going to be able to see Pacquiao's punches coming and defend against them. Accummulation of speed + power = stoppage.

Freddie is banking on Cotto being a dead body in the ring. He's banking on Cotto being scared, being mentally jarred and indecisive. If this is the case, then a Pacquiao KO is VERY possible, if not, and if Cotto comes out boxing, looking like Pre-Margo Cotto he wins this one ends-up and exposes Pac in the process...

**** man many people are underrating Cotto... **** Roach for saying that!

yes, I will be rooting for Pac to win, although Cotto has become one of my fave fighters lately, but I should be objective here and let me tell you "this statement is ridiculous". No ones gonna get blasted in Round 1, and Cotto sure as hell will be taking advantage of his size and strength to overpower Pac, and this fight could go either way

I want Cotto to body slam Manny in the clinch, really go out there and rough him up a bit and then smile at Freddie when he goes back to his corner!:D

I don't think Roach is banking on any of these things. Why would Cotto be afraid of Manny Pacquiao when he wasn't afraid of Mosley, Margarito or Clottey? Roach will be preparing Pacquiao to face a man of courage and resolve, a man who fought and won against the strong Joshua Clottey with only one functional eye. Cotto would never be scared of someone his own size, never mind a smaller man. And Roach knows it. And Pac knows it. Cotto is a warrior, he will be mentally strong on the night. The key to this fight is physical, not mental. Cotto can come out to box or brawl, his tactics won't matter because he will find Pacquiao too fast and, after a few rounds of taking shots, too powerful.

No ones gonna become a dead body come Nov 14th. Cotto imo will be mentally prepared in this fight. We've seen a glimpse of his preparation, he's really hungry to prove himself. I just hope Pac feels the same way and he meant it when he said "I like this fight"

I see a battle between two PRIME warriors hungry to prove themselves. We'll see, "corpse" excuses imo ain't gonna happen

Couple weeks back maybe one month ago Roach stated and I quote.... "Anybody who thinks Miguel Cotto is going to be an easy fight dont know boxing" Perhaps he said needs their head checked, either way, now he is saying Manny in 1... I dont buy it sure he got Hatton right, the Oscar fight right but there were circumstances going in the DLH fight that anybody with common sense knows...

And Hatton fought the way you wanted him to fight if your a banger like Pacquiao..... Lets see what Roach feels like the week of the fight when both guys show up in vegas.

 just messin around. The way I see it Cotto simply isn't the same fighter. He'll probably be leading say halfway through the fight, but when he sees Manny's hands haven't slowed down a bit he'll do what he did against Clottey and back off a bit. Thats when Manny charges in turns up the speed and either gets the decision or gets the stoppage...Should be a good fight, hoping Cotto proves me wrong and makes it more competitive though.

I hope Pac goes for the 1st round KO, and he'll see what kind of opposition hes really against, no drained Hoya no Vicky Fatton, a true warrior.
