He is sure of that bc Mayweather gave Shaefer and Ellerbe the green light to start negotiations in November.

"We have been informed that Bob Arum is not interested in pursuing a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao at this time," Schaefer said.

Mayweather knocked out Victor Ortiz in his return to the ring after 16 months off in September, and Pacquiao eked out a controversial majority decision against rival Juan Manuel Marquez in their third meeting Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

That set the table for the showdown that looms as the biggest money fight in boxing history, especially with Mayweather announcing two weeks ago that he planned to return May 5 at the MGM Grand and, according to Ellerbe, wanted to "make the biggest fight possible and everyone knows what that fight is, the little fella (Pacquiao)."

However, that does not appear to be the plan Arum and Pacquiao have, even if they had said they were open to it before the Marquez fight.

Schaefer said the notification came in an email from retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, the mediator who has worked closely with the sides to settle numerous lawsuits and issues in recent years.:deal

Pac can't talk Arum out of ****. Pac doesn't even have copies of bout contracts and gets advances. Get over it dude. Arum is Manny's promoter and he says what goes. Not Koncz and not Manny. :patsch

But Arum did say, "We are pursuing a fourth fight with Marquez. As far as doing anything definitively, we aren't ready to do anything definitively. When we are ready to make a determination of what we are going to do, we will do it. We are not going to do this in the press. We will do what is in the best interest of ourselves and our client and make a decision when it's time to. If we decide we want to do a rematch with Marquez, there is no reason to sit down with Mayweather. If we want to explore a Mayweather fight, we will sit down with them. But I'm not going to sit down with them just because it's a good show."

scahefer is also the same guy who said that they would never have mosley take an extra test for the judah fight since that means judah's camp is basically accussing mosley of roiding while schafer has no problem with floyd asking pac with it.

also schaefer is the same guy who denied the greenburg-haymon-arum negotiations when floyd suddenly took a vacation. schaefer would naturally cover floyd's ass and is not exactly a honest person.

I don't give a **** what Shaefer said about Judah. Floyd has the right to ask for whatever he wants. He pays them to co promote his bouts. There was a 2nd negotiation and as soon as Team Pac said they would not do full testing there was nothing to talk about. We been over that already. See now you are reaching . Just give it up. Arum doesn't want the fight and if Floyd would have said 50/50 Arum said he would still not make the fight. You seem really hurt by all of this.:patsch

Pac has to have ARUM on side BEFORE Negos happen not after. 1 before 2, Arum said MAYBE November, Arum is the one who guides Pacs career and he already had his career mapped out and PBF was not in his plans

so why didn't floyd just accepted the 50/50 split then? was it not fair enough?

if pac was the one demanding 60/40 or 70/30 for this fight, you *****s would be all over the board accusing pac of ducking and pricing himself out.

honeslty, before floyd rejected the 50/50 split, do you guys have any problem with it?

and pac has made it clear that he wants floyd next. made a clear offer of 50/50 and if floyd accepts, he got the fight.

i have been saying this,if pac was so powerless in making the fight as what you guys are trying to paint, then why would floyd call pac directly?

pac has the option to choose who he would fight especially now that he would retire soon.

WTF are you talking about. I have said over and over again that this fight is a 50/50 or 60/40 to the winner. Now there is no way any of that can be worked out if Arum doesn't sit down at the negotiation table with Shaefer and the mediator to work things out. It doesn't matter what Floyd or Manny say bc nobody that matters is sitting down working out the details.

Now this is the last time I am going to comment to your ******ed ass. Are you Lance's cousin? :rofl:patsch:lol:

Username nothing to do with it. It clear Pac want fight, otherwise why not go 50/50?
