Again, please justify Pacquaio fighting Mosley when his last two fights were a close to shutout UD against Floyd, and a questionable draw with Sergio Mora?

Shane hadn't fought in a very long time when Floyd signed to fight him, I won't deny that. Mosley was recognised as the number one WW in the world when he agreed to fight Mayweather, and number 3 on most P4P lists.
Confidence is a huge thing for a fighter, so in terms of mentality atleast, Mosley was dangerous going into the Mayweather fight.

This is also the same Mosley who went to the Wildcard gym to negotiate a fight with Roach and Pacquaio after their two wins (Manny in Dec 08, Mosley in Jan 09) Mosley was told no fight, unless he could make 143 lbs, not even the 145lbs Cotto was granted.

    Does it need justification?

It was a money fight but meaningless when it comes to legacy, just like the Hoya fight!!!!

Nobody is claiming it to be the next coming of Jesus Christ!!!!

Only GFlomos would like to squeeze the last ounce of credit in meaningless fight.

When did I say Pac-Mosley is a great fight at 2011? sheesh

And Manny was still uncertain in fighting at 147 so he accepts Mosley for a catchweight and Manny also knows Shane is past it but still a dangerous fighter. Remember, Manny was still at 140 then. That's why Manny accepted to fight at 145 with Cotto coz he's still not comfortable at the 147 limit, which Cotto agrees cos his last weighin was just 146 with clottey.

The reason why Floyd and Pac didnt have that much opponent because Floyd and Pac should have been fighting before Mosley-Flyd and Cotto-pac fights came in.

I agree with most of this.

I'll never claim that Cotto was a weight drained fighter, I think he's a brilliant win on Pacquaio's resume, probably his second greatest win after the first MAB fight.

It seems Pac is ready to cash out and move on to other things, while Floyd is looking to squeeze the most money possible from this fight. And Arum is trying to prevent both from happening. There's more interesting things developing in the sport. This has run its course it seems. It's been two years of posturing by BOTH sides. If either really cared about the fans more than lining their pockets, we would be talking about the fight in past tense.

Void has been extremely afraid ever since Pac stopped Cotto, that's when the lies about Pac being a drug addict started.................Void is void. Void is a chicken, no doubt about it.

who the hell cares? The fight the world wants to see is Haye-Chisora. Two real G's stepping in the ring together. Could you imagine the pre-fight and post-fight press conferences for that!
