he change it from 30 days to 24 days closer to floyd's terms. meanwhile floyd changed his terms farther to what pac suggested. pac is trying to make this fight now, i could not say the same with floyd. what are you trying to do and achieve?

My opinion on this whole saga is based on principles and logic rather than people so my opinion wouldn't change, can you say the same?

Pac was in a strong negotiating position last time as he'd just come off an impressive victory against Cotto. Mayweather has repeatedly generated more money but he was happy to split 50/50, accept the overweight penalty and compromise on the cut off date for testing.

Mayweather has just come off an impressive victory over Mosley that reiterated his belief that he's the top fighter in the sport for generating revenue so asking for a larger split of the purse and refusing to budge on the testing in new negotiations is understandable as he's now in the stronger position to negotiate.

I think what he said about no cut off date is posturing and that he will be willing to compromise, it's ridiculous to criticse him when he fought a fortnight ago and hasn't even responded to what Pac has said yet.

first, nice of you to avoid answering the question

    second,

mayweather went from no cut-off to 14 days (a change of 14 days, with no reason other then to try and get the fight made)

pac went from 0 to 5 to 30 before the 3 way negotiations, during which he went from 30 to 24 (a change of 6 days, and he only budged from 30 to 24 because of the ricky hatton video)

so you have floyd compromising 14 days, but pac backpedaling all the way from no cut-off to 30 days, then finally moving up 6 days to 24

then, within hours of negotiations stalling, he signs to fight clottey (with NO drug testing)

    fast forward to May 1st

directly after the mayweather mosley fight, floyd says he will not negotiate the testing this time around

arum says they won't negotiate through the media this time around

a few weeks later both arum and pac are trying to negotiate through the media, and pac is talking about 14 days. 14 days? from where?

    1. negotiations ended, there are no terms, everything went out of the window when you signed another fight

    2. floyd already said "No OSDT = No fight" three weeks before pac's latest face-saving nonsense

    3. arum and pac are both negotiating through the media, which they said they would not do

for the record, i hope they just sign at the point where negotiations failed last time, to make the fight, but you *******s are unreal...PAC IS ONLY TRYING TO SAVE FACE...his recent 14 day crap is an empty offer

No, he wanted random drug testing all the way up until the fight, Pacquiao told him to **** off and that 30 was as low as he would go. Later a video tape surfaced of him getting his blood tested 24 days before the Hatton fight and he had to come down to there. Mayweather threw out 14 in a last ditch attempt to save the fight and Pacquiao spit on the offer. Now the time and landscape has changed, and USADA style testing is on the rise(every fighter in the Super Six now has gone through the testing and Pacquiao's own gym mates don't have a problem with it) and Mayweather has once again outsold Pacquiao. Pacquiao is behind the proverbial 8 ball and its his move, accept the testing or ***** out and fighting plasterfist.

so now pac agreeing to floyd's original term is now saving face? what about he trying to make the fight? so what does it say for floyd moving back now from his previous terms or at least admit that floyd is making it hard for this fight to make.

what don't you get? pac killed the last fight. when he signed [to fight clottey] all terms are gone.

that fight was set for march...march is gone...new fight, new terms

pac isn't negotiating with floyd, he's talking to his fans

yes i agree that it was based on principles more so than logic. but i actually believe that in the back of floyd's mind, sr could have rubbed off some of his fear of pac unto floyd thus floyd has to demand this and even went far as to say that he is cleaning the sport.

yes floyd is now in a stronger position than before but this does not take away the fact that as of recent, it was pac's team who are making this fight happen while floyd is making a step backward. pac doesn't need floyd as much as floyd thinks he is needed by pac. legacy wise pac is already secured yet he really wants this fight as his last one.

killed the fight because they could not agree with both 14 days and 24 days cut-off? remember that both parties failed to settle it last time around. pac might be talkng to his fans but it is clear that he wants this fight NOW that he is willing to concede to floyd's term. why is floyd suddenly making a new term, unless he doesn't want to negotiate in good faith. please, this is not even a debate on why floyd deserve this and that, its about how we make this fight. please think of this first before your love for floyd.

Real easy way to make the fight. Random testing, no cutoff.
