Manny will beat floyd. but floyd will duck him, HBO will protect floyd from this beating. Just like they protected floyd from Cotto in 08.

floyd is showing no interest in the fight. he's just making excuses about the money split and how he beat HAtton and Oscar first, and how Manny has been beaten and stopped. He is trying to win the fight with his mouth. He doesn't want to try to win it in the ring. Manny wants the fight but floyd clearly does not. reason is simple: floyd knows he might get slaughtered.

basically he said that he prefers to fight floyd because he had "many words" for him and he wants to prove that he can beat floyd. when asked if he admits that floyd is a good fighter, he said that yes but not as good as you "the interviewer" thinks. also at the last part he's talking about floyds advantages over marquez. he also questions floyd's courage "tapang" and said that floyd doesn't want to get hit.

the only problem for the report is that Oct 17 is the confirmed date for pac's next fight and Oct 17 would be too soon for the winner of floyd-jmm.

I don't think either fighter is overated, they are both exceptional. But I think there are definately double standards being applied to them by the fans when judging them. Floyd has been invloved in some degree of cherrypicking, i.e. Baldomir and Gatti. However, it also should be considered that Manny's last three fights have been very carefully matched, this can be deduced from Roach's comments. The fact that Manny was happy to fight Oscar at 147 yet refuses to fight any of the other top welters above 142 means that they knew that Oscar couldn't make that weight and fight effectively and/or was shot. I also remember Roach saying after the first Morales fight that they were shocked with the performance of Morales because going into the fight they thought Morales was shot. And even a blind man could see that both Diaz and Hatton had a walk up style that was tailor made for Pac. Roach has stated as much. Still great wins, but just saying that they were very carefully matched and not that disimilar to Floyd's matching.

mayweather can certainly be overrated, he really did just lose that fight against JLC, judah gave him troubles early on, I dont know if pac is the man to beat him, or even cotto, but i think mosely would

Pac's proving himself inside the ring... while Floyds busy holding the mic and saying he's the best.

Floyd is getting under Manny's skin. Pac listens to everything as what many people not think.

^ I don't think Floyd is getting in Manny's skin. He knows it's just talk and to him, if PBF wants to prove something instead of talking, this is pbf chance to back it up. Pac doesn't really give a ****.

I totally agree... if Floyd were that good he would be fighting and proving himself against the best all the time and cleaning divisions. He only faces the most washed ups and weakest links. ALL THE TIME.

Mayweather is a great fighter, but he is widely overrated. Because he is slick and cool, and has what is viewed as a highly skilled style, people think he is untouchable. Because he embarrasses guys like Gatti and Hatton, people think he is a genius. But if you look through his career, there are struggles with fighters that a true elite all-time great would not struggle with. There are no fights with truly great fighters where he has excelled to a new level of performance. There are no fights with truly great fighters full stop.

Watch both Castillo fights. That's right, both Castillo fights. Floyd lost the first one, and although he won the second, he was not able to dominate or really punish JLC, who was at best a borderline top 10 p4p fighter at the peak of his career. And this was Floyd in his prime years at a great weight for him.

Sorry, but all the slickness in the world and a zero does not in any way mean that you are on the Leonard-Whitaker-Duran level of greatness in terms of skills. And Roy Jones was the greatest fighter of this generation in terms of ability.
