Not true. Floyd wanted testing all the way up to the fight. Manny said 30 days. Floyd went HALFWAY to 14 days, and Manny said 24 (only because of the Hatton video), and then ran away. So, using the flea market analogy from earlier, it went kind of like this:

    Buyer: How much?
    Seller: $100
Buyer: That's way too much. I'll give you $20.
Seller: $20 is a little low. I'll meet you in the middle. How about $60?
    Buyer: $47 or no deal.
Seller: $47? :blood No. It's worth more than that. $60 is 40% off! If you want the widget, it's $60.
Buyer: No way! It's the principal of the matter. You obviously don't want to sell your widget. I'm gonna go buy a crappier item for $10. Then I am gonna complain about you to anyone who will listen, and tell them that you don't really want to sell widgets. You're not a real widget merchant because you wouldn't give me your $100 widget for $20.

If he had said no from the beginning I would respect him so much more. :-(

    My bad.

Manny does not, and cannot sell more than Floyd. Everyone in the boxing world knows that (though some *******s are in denial). All roads do lead to Mayweather. You want the payday? You want the legacy? You want the greatness? You have to beat Floyd Mayweather. Everyone else seems to know this. I think Manny knows it too. He just started believing his own bull crap fed to him by Arum and Joke Coach.

Folks, the thing to get out of this article is not specific numbers in the negotiations, but more that Floyd chose to stop negotiating. If the fight was that important to him, they would have eventually settled on a compromise, that's how it works. But instead he walked away before things were done.
I don't blame him though... he probably thought if he stepped away, the other side would come back begging and agreeing to his terms, but that obviously didn't happen.
I do put some blame on Bob Arum as he obvious wanted the negotiations to fail since he seemed a bit bitter when they refused to fight in Texas.

That's not quite how it works. You are giving an arbitrary value to something that doesn't any measurable value.

    There's value

Floyd went from 0 days to 14.

    Pac from 30 - 24.

No what you are doing is assigning arbitrary values since there is no point of reference.... that would only make sense if everyone agreed that 0 days was within a reasonable range, which obviously not everyone agree was. What if Pac's team initially wanted 60days, then went to 30. That's a 30day drop... you see why that doesn't work?

    Actually.

Pac's team originally agreed to 0 days. Then flipped a ***** and wanted 60/30 with pre set dates.

Agree. If you can telegraph Cotto's punch, you can moreso with Mosley. Looks at how he cocks everytime he throws. People think Floyd will have a hard time against Mosley and I disagree. It will be easy just as easy as Pac will beat Mosley.

When Mayweather was getting criticized for choosing to fight Marquez, Mayweather stated, "Pacquiao has'nt called me out for me to fight him. If he wants to fight me, all he has to do is say so. I'm the best p4p, I dont have to call out anyone, they come to me."

Pacquiao finally verbally stated he wanted to fight Mayweather after the Cotto fight, and what did he do???

He backed out over the PED testing.

    Freddie Roach stated......
"They're scared of Manny and scared of his power. He'll pass any test in the world."
    :rofl:rofl:rofl

What the hell happened with your stance Freddie???

I think what Pacquiao wants now is for Mayweather to call him out, so that he can state, "you'll fight on my terms, and no PED testing.
