This can only be answered by Floyd, and not what "people have said". Floyd's last comments were that he's done vacationing, he's back, and wants to take on the best for his last few fights. He also said Pac is next. I suspect that he plans on fighting Ortiz, Pac, Khan then retiring for good.

If he goes on vacation again, then the fight will never happen.

I don't really think Floyd would fight Khan first because he's smart enough to know it gives Freddy another up close look at tryin' **** on Floyd. In other words it would give Roach a warm up on gameplan type **** to see what might/might not work.

He's already been in the other corner with ODH, but still.

Floyd doesn't have the urge in 2012.

pacquiao cannot do anything if floyd wants khan next instead of him. i don't understand exactly your question. what you mean is if khan hypothetically wins and is up against pacquiao next or if khan wins and becomes as big as pac, does he give more importance to the other in training schedule?

khan for the record has stated that he does not see himself fighting pacquiao and roach doesn't want it either.

People talk about the lawsuit as though Mayweather is suing Pac. It's the other way around.

If Arum says filing the suit is what is holding up the fight, then tell me who the **** is filing the suit?

well, arum has let pacquiao fought GBP fighters as recently as 2009. GBP has been letting floyd fight their fighters since 2006. baldomir, oscar, hatton, marquez, mosley and now ortiz. floyd's last 6 fights (including ortiz) are all GBP fighters. pac's 6 out of his last 10 fights are non-TR. you can say 5 out of 10 if you will include mosley but him and jmm are free-agents. arum said that they would amke the floyd fight. floyd said pacquiao is next but also says he would love to fight in england. so you think GBP would actually want a floyd-pac fight insetad of floyd-khan under the scenario and knowing that floyd could fight once a year?

yes and if floyd would not fight pacquiao in may next year, khan would be his only fight in the fall of 2012.

i agree with this. floyd and his camp tried to ruin his reputation by PEDs allegation in the media so an apology would be sufficient for him. just like when pac dropped the suit against oscar when he apologized.

I just mean logically Pacquiao has wanted the fight longer and is rightfully next in line, not Khan. And my question, in the case Khan beat Mayweather, logically he next faces Pacquiao, who does Roach train?

Also history shows us the 1-1.5 year trend after Hatton. All performances almost perfect if not perfect. I see no reason to continue after fighting Pacquiao. Has nothing to prove and buttloads of cash.

i don't know pac's would be reaction if khan landed the fight ahead of him but knowing his stance, he thinks that if this fight happens, then it happens so he would not be too upset with it and he would probably help khan prepare for it in sparring.

interesting scenario but if khan somehow finds a way to win, i don't think they would fight. but another hypothetical and if somehow both agrees to fight in 2013, my guess is roach would still train pac, just my opinion.

who didn't show up at the court hearing because he has to train for Ortiz, but he can show up at a strip club concert and start a riot...

we've had so many hold ups about this fight that i just wont believe this even if they:

...both appear in the media to tell the world they will fight

...both signs the dotted line stating they will fight

...both climbs the ring giving the impression that they will fight

but i will definitely believe it after the bell is rung and the first punch is thrown :bbb

I will have to see Void within a ring with Pac before I believe it. Void is void, he will never fight Pac, Void, Sr. said as much..............
