This has come up once again and i would just like to illustrate how ****ing stupid the Mayweathers, Teddy Atlas, and anyone who regurgitates this falsehood is.

-At age 16 in 1993 Floyd Mayweather won the National Golden Gloves at 106lbs in the Amateurs

-At age 16 in 1995 Pacquiao was a Pro fighting grown men and that year weighed in between 106-110 lbs.

    - At age 17 in 1996 Pacquaio weighed between 113-116 lbs

    - at age 17 in 1994 Mayweather Won the National GG at 114lbs

    * Keep in mind that Manny b-day is Dec 17 while Floyd's is Feb 24 so there is almost 2 years between them since Floyd's is so early in the year and Pac's so late.

These pics came from a similar thread made by "Yagbolsco" so credit to him.

    Vs Margarito last night 144

So Pacquaio vs Diaz, De La Hoya, Hatton was 3-4 Lbs heavier than he was when he fought at 130lbs. Truth is he hasn't gotten any bigger and is the same size most 130lb fighters are and is naturally himself a 130-135lb fighter. He should be being applauded that at 144lb (which alot of 130 lbers are) he is capable of demolishing a guy like Margarito who is a natural 154lb fighter.

Most guys don't really start filling out until their early 20's. Manny was fighting at 122 when he was 21, putting on 25lbs from age 21-31 especially when you're a professional athlete where training and taking care of your body is you're only job is not a big feat.

Floyd's Queen Team and Manny bashers using the "he started at 106" argument are just sad. Look at what you've reduced your supporters to Void :-(

Floyd was definitely a smaller guy when he was fighting in the lower divisions. Pac was more consistently out-weighing his opponents.

The general rule of thumb that you hear is "if you're only cutting 10lbs you need to drop down a weighclass" Floyd is one of the few fighters, certianly Americans that aren't cutting roughly 12-17 lbs. Most fighters do.

Miranda vs Bute for example weighed in at 168, in ring was 185.

What's your point. That Mayweather's weight jumping is just as impressive as Emanuel's or am I missing something

I think it's that Manny shows no signs of steroids and that floyd's a big ***** for trying to taint the greatest fighter of his era...

I think something else is up with Pac.

Not only is his weight the same, but his arms are shrinking.

From 24", to 25", now to 23". He's not on HGH, he's on shrinking hormones if that's the case.

Perhaps somebody that gives much more of a **** than me can now post Floyds fight night weight over the last 4 or 5 years, and see which fighter is actually getting bigger?

Good call. If his reach is shrinking ... something else must be growing to make up for the same mass in his body. Is it his head? Or something more intimate?
