Floyd does a few things that will not work in his favour against Pacquiao

-Failing to get his foot on the outside against southpaws

    -moving back in straight lines

However the above two things have probably lost him a combined total of 10 rounds against all the southpaws he's faced, which I beleive is about 7

Floyd is judged by entirely different standards to other boxers

These points are all true but Mayweather is still a much tougher test for Pacquaio than Marquez, who'm for many he just can't beat. HE can get away with a few of these technical issues because of his overall defensive and countering ability

Oh definitely, Floyd beats him all day long in a manner that would make the crowd go silent from round 5 onwards

I just thought it would be easier to list the reasons Pacquiao would have success against Floyd instead of the longer list of reasons why I beleive Floyd will dominate Pacquiao

However those two things I did post are the opposite of two of the things Marquez does so well vs Pac (punching and defending from angles), but then I'm pretty sure Floyd would walk Pac down, not fight on the backfoot and counter him so it's partly null & void

Pac may have the "blueprint," but he needs the"green print."

What Pac really needs is a miracle , because Floyd has made it pretty obvious for some time now that he'll do anything to avoid fighting Manny.

Funny thing, because I can't figure how Manny could beat Floyd.

But obviously, Floyd sees something I don't.

    10 rounds is pushing it.

He lost 3 rounds a most to Judah. Maybe lost a round to Corley and lost a round to Sanders in his second fight

I was cynical when I saw the thread title, but this is actually a pretty good article. It touches on points that some of us have raised in regard to the crucial differences between Mayweather and Marquez, and how this relates to the Pac match.

I'll definetly be betting on Manny when these 2 fight.

I think Marquez has clouded alot of people who assume he will dominate Pac.

Marquez and Floyd are so differant from each other. I think floyd will eat alot of right hooks when lening in with his jab to the body, and also get hit and wobbled a few times by mannies straight left.

I'm 50/50 on who will win, but the betting outs won't reflect that.

Why am i wasting my time, this fight will never happen. haha

The only blueprint Poochiao can use is the one from Floyd's baby mama, he's not beating Money in the ring that's for sure.

Great breakdown, but it doesn't automatically mean Manny will run through Floyd and beat him. You can stand in front of Manny and still make him miss if you know how use good proper upper body movement. Clottey could've done it in a more effective way by not allowing Manny to hit his arms/elbows. Floyd knows how to block punches, but he also knows how to make you hit nothing but air.

I'm not saying your wrong but if your going to put forth an opinion then at least back it up. Even if the article was written by a pac fan at least he has highlighted reasons for his belief.

Yeah a lot of us said that just because Marquez and Mayweather are counter punchers doesn't mean they fight the same. I hate it when I see people saying look what Marquez did to Pacquiao so Floyd will win easy, it's not the same fight.

I do think Floyd wins easy though, just not for the reasons they were saying.
