So did Mayweather but Oscar didn’t want to fight him. Amazing how the Mayweather haters forget how Oscar and Shane wanted nothing to do with Mayweather earlier in his career.
Mayweather, like Pacquiao, was an ATG before his stint at Welterweight. Ducking Pacquiao was awful for the sport, but Mayweathers legacy isn't that affected by it. Mayweather and Pacquiao didn't need each other to leave amazing legacies in the sport. I also wouldn't let Money May define Mayweather as a whole. Money May was a businessman but PBF was ruthless. If Pacquiao and Mayweather crossed paths before Mayweather turned into a businessman, then I think the fight would have happened much sooner.
The best isn't based on fiction (p4p).. the best is based on reality.. if you put froid in with say the best light heavyweights of his time he would get stomped because hes a juiced up goompa loompa.. I'm sorry that hurts your feelings. He wasnt the best, the best are at LHW, CW & HW etc.. It's easy to work out why
After Mayweather bought out his contract from Arum, he tried to get a fight with De la Hoya and Shane. Neither were interested at the time.
He schooled Canelo at JMW. I think he could have picked up a middle title for sure, given the right opportunity.
Mayweather is a poor mans SRL. There was always a catch with him and excuses for why he avoided the top men in their prime. Hes no Hagler.
Only one he may have actively avoided was Paul Williams and Williams had a loss before that fight was made. Mayweather didn’t duck Pacquiao. Remember the stadium that Arum wanted to build and the other excuses Pac’s camp used to avoid the fight? Probably not but I do.
Straight lies if you act like Floyd wanted to fight Pac in 2010. He was putting up roadblocks and ducking a former flyweight that blasted out dlh, hatton and cotto. If he wanted that fight it would have happened.
Pac **** alert! Mayweather asked for blood tests and Pac refused. Roach admitted they were responsible for delaying the fight. Too bad you Pac fans can’t come to that realization. lol You probably believe Pac beat Mayweather.
