    and Wilfred Benitez.

On Saturday night Matthew 'Magic Man' will join that list of boxers who have held the WBC Light-Middleweight Belt as he destorys the Mexican Ginge and knocks him clean out.

Alvarez is in over his head on this one.

I hope Hatton can win and this attempt by GBP and the WBC to hand Alvarez a belt blows up in their faces. Highly doubt it though. Hatton was picked as an opponent because he didn't pose any conceivable threat.

And now I read the WBC want to get rid of the catchweight and want the fight to be held at the full 154 limit, which no doubt will even further favor Alvarez. Honestly, the way they are cotton-wooling this kid and handing him every perceivable advantage is a flat out embarrassment.

It will most certainly backfire he will win and within 1/2 years they will put him in there against a guy who he isnt ready for at all and he will end up like fernando vargas when he got destroyed by tito.

It is by no means Alvarez's fault. He is just doing his job. If all is true, Hatton should walk. Of course he can get a title shot at WW. He just has to keep winning. Hatton, walk away so that then GBP has to then wait and get a legitimate top five contender.
