Yes taking the test with the knowledge we have today and all these tricks means nothing the way boxing has done it for so many years. Boxing has to change and do what sports such as baseball are doing and is RANDOM testing. Thats what I want and many others. RANDOM once again, RANDOM, RANDOM, and RANDOM, this after the fight testing urine test means nothing and its all BS. And both urine and blood testing is needed. It is known that urine testing will not pick up all PED, with a combination of both we def. make a fighters think twice.

 

If a lot of boxers are actually on steroids why dont people close to them expose them, they usually have huge entourages and there are always people pissed off or kicked out, if a fighter is roiding I think a lot of people would know. yet we never hear anything, and dont bring the sparring partner stuff in here.

 

Victor Conte refers to these type drug tests as 'IQ tests'. You'd have to be a thick imbecile to fail one.

human growth hormone leaves the body with in 48 hours. any one can pass a drug test like this using HGH. only way to make it HARD to find out someone whos on HGH is random blood tests. so if say some boxer (note NOT saying manny) were to use HGH on day 6 before the fight and it was only a 7 day cut off random drug testing like mannys camp agreed, then there would be no way to find out if his clean or not. Now if it was full blood tests and say Boxer A. takes HGH on day 5 and then they random drug test Boxer A. on day 4 before the fight then they will detect HGH and the fight will be called off.

It's all relative to the half-life of the drug. Deca can stay in your system for up to 18months (only James Toney was dumb enough to take that), whereas test propionate is out of your system within 3 days max - so it would be quite easy to take this if there weren't random olympic style blood testing. This is not to say this is the reason Pac won't agree to this, but it's a possibility.

Plus you've got the geniuses, such as Patrick Arnold creating brand new and re-inventing old designer steroids for years gone by - and there are literally thousands of compounds that have been created at some point since the 1960's the discarded, they could so easily be dug up and re-used/altered etc....

They are always one step ahead of the game.

 

If Pacquiao would have just taken the test like Mosley we would have seen this fight already!!! Take The Test!!!

Pac passed 2 unscheduled drug tests in the past year. The first one was during the Pac-Mayweather negotiations when the Nevada State Athletic Commission ordered Floyd and Manny to undergo drug testing even though no fight was scheduled which both passed. The second was right after the Margarito fight. Pac's team accussed Margarito of pouring a powdered substance into his drink so the Texas State Commission ordered both fighters to submit to drug tests right after the fight. Both passed.
