Floyd can just use this as the way out. He's apparently still trying to decide whether he wants to fight this year. He can avoid Pacquiao for good if he wants to.

Nonsense, it's the other way around, there is already a contract, team Pacquiao is waiting for Floyd to sign that contract. If Floyd refuse to sign, he does not realy want to fight Pacquiao.

I wouldn't blame him for retiring after beating Floyd, would just make legacy that much better

Pacman wouldn't be the first celebrity that did well in the "real world" (sports, entertainment etc.) to be utterly frustrated by the machinations of politics and bureaucracy. I wish him well but he sounds a little naive with what he expects he can actually achieve.

well..he's a ****ing political figure now. Arum is full of **** if he thinks he can keep manny for 3 more fights when he's got a province to attempt to un****. if he retired, i wouldn't be surprised but hopefully his last fight would be worth going out to see.

Floyd will duck and duck Pacquiao even though Pac wants the fight so bad but then Pac finally retires and then we'll hear Floyd saying Pacquiao retired because he ducked Floyd.
