Pacquiao: My cut is fine!

First-rate fantard spinning right here. Pacquiao's courageous effort with this heinous cut against a 38 year old lightweight really should be credited more. I've never seen someone come out more guns ablaze than Pacquiao did in the championship rounds of that fight, especially given the circumstances.

 

You're probably one of those who was all over Marquez's nuts to notice, but yes Pacquiao did step it up in those rounds and won them both. Who cares if Marquez was previously a lightweight, he had the momentum from the 10th, Pac had a deep cut, Pac deserves some credit for turning it around. Credit isn't only reserved for those who ***** and whine like Manuela.

 

Nah Marquez arguably won both the 11th and 12th (then again, that's not saying much since Pacquiao didn't win a single round clearly and decisively in the entire fight). Hell the guy who could only find 3 rounds to give Marquez through the first 11 gave him the 12th and the other judge who had Pacquiao winning gave Marquez the 11th. Pacquiao still wasn't landing much, he still couldn't cut off the ring, and he was still getting countered. Here's what stepping it up in the championship rounds looks like:

I guess this is the part though where you pretend Pacquiao would have done the same thing but Marquez was doing nothing but running for his life in those rounds.

 

You're the one who talked about him coming guns blazing. That's the problem with you clowns judging the fight, you held it against Pac that he was content to box. He tried too hard in the 10th and was sloppy, got cut and that might've bothered him, and was getting countered in many exchanges.

He stepped it up 11th and 12th by being more selective with his punching and counterpunching and he outboxed Marquez in those rounds. He landed the cleaner harder blows in the 11th, Marquez landed some counters, most of them grazing punches. Marquez only landed one clean punch in the 12th and it was Pac who was countering him landing about 6-7 clean blows without getting hit and showing great defence. Funny how you mention the judges, you mean the judges who gave Pac the fight? lol. There is no argument to give Marquez the 12th round, Lederman gave it to him too.atsch 11th was closer, but being consistent in scoring for the cleaner more effective punching Pacquiao won that round clearly too. What the hell does it matter if he wasn't cutting off the ring if he was landing the better shots on Marquez throughout those rounds, and most of them in the centre of the ring? Learn how to score a fight without bias. As for Marquez's supposed ring generalship, he was so in command of the ring he allowed Pacquiao to outland him in the centre of the ring as a counterpuncher in the final rounds at a better than 2-1 ratio, and literally like 6/7-1 in the last round. Never have I seen a fighter get so much credit for doing so little.

 

I can see this is an utter waste of time as usual, but saying anyone "clearly" won either of those rounds is nonsensical. Likewise, citing Lederman authoritatively in any capacity disqualifies you from criticizing anyone else's ability to judge a fight and makes it extremely difficult to take your own opinions seriously.

 

What are you talking about? I said Lederman gave Marquez the 12th. I'm claiming he was wrong. (my bad for not wording it properly)
You're the one basing your opinion on the last two rounds on a couple of the judges scores, not me

Pacquiao landed more of the cleaner punches, he landed the harder punches, without getting hit with many clean shots showing the better defence. He won those rounds clearly. I'll let the gifs show it, even if you'll still think Pacquiao wasn't doing much. Really do learn to put bias aside
