Good article. CNN, Kimmel, ESPN, Time, Reader's Digest, now Newsweek. Packy is almost single-handedly getting our beloved sport back into the mainstream media's attention. Anyone who hated that is not really a Fightfan and should just be shot execution-style.
That's incredibly admirable. How can anyone come into this after reading the story as a hater... only a chump. lol.
Yup forgot that one, have a copy mesself. Playboy's not my idea of mainstream though; heck i wasn't able to read the article yet because of the highly-distracting centerfolds of this particular ish.
I like what he said about politicians, how he believes he has a duty to help his people. Building that hospital shows he hasn't forgotten where he came from, nor the hardships he had growing up. No primma donna/diva here. What he said about the De La Hoya fight was cool too, I don't remember ever hearing talk about that win. He seems to have a gambling problem though, the guy has all the money he could ever need why is he hustling people out of money playing pool?
it probably needs to be on a wager to let the best out of him and trigger his competetive spirit. if it would just be a normal game or he would just pay these hustlers money to play with him, they would just let him win without much of a fight. i know its a bit of unfair considering that for this guys, it's like their livelihood while for pac its just for fun but considering that most of these guys are pro or veterans of local or international tournaments, then it would be virtually pacquiao giving away his money more often than not.
racism has no place on this forum. But I wouldn't expect you to understand, you was born in pacland:rofl
