Either Conor Benn or Anthony Mundine... Commence the googling and articles and such! Wtf is PAC thinking, he never lost an edge, still the same ballsy cat who took on all comers in his youth and seniority in life. Wow Mr. Pacquiao, stand up. Unbelievable if this falls through!
Lots pf boxers never learn till they get ktfo'd by weak fighters they would have destroyed on their prime. Pac is delusional thinking he still got it and will end up like bhop or tyson sooner or later. Knowing when to retire is an underrated feature lots of boxers lack. Better to be like Hagler, Calzaghe or Floyd than Duran, Hearns or Rjj.
I think if he didn't have that two year lay off covid break in between & actually went down to a natural weight at 135 or at least 140 instead of fighting these guys that hydrate to middle wiehgt & beyond he would have done fine, He still ended up throwing around 700-800 in the punch range against Ugas & that's with the layoff at age 43 & very little use of his legs, Either way he should stay retired & enjoy his life as he's been over deserving off that for years now.
Roy Jones coming back is worse because he's over 50, but this doesn't mean this one's a good idea either. As long as it's possible for these guys to squeeze a little cash out of their name, it's gonna happen.
If the money is right against Mundine, that would be the easiest money Pac has ever made. Mundine was terrible when he hung up the gloves. A roided Benn would be trouble but a juice free Benn should be ok.
