i feel bad for Pac bc he has to deal with so many distractions outside of the ring...damn near everyone in the Phillipines is trying to pick this guys pockets....everything hes involved in people are stealing money from him, and every woman says they have a baby by him...

I don't think it helps that, by all accounts, Pac isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. But I don't know why he would just bail out and go back to the Phillipines; there's even more distractions there, at least in the US with Freddy Roach he can have some privacy.

Pac might be able to weather a fight against MAB like this (maybe), but the first young gun he fights will smoke him if he doesn't snap back into form. I'm hoping a bout against JMM will wake him back up.

Let's just hope he doesn't fight on too long. I agree he appears to have lost some fire.

I'm kind of feeling the same. He beat Barerra and was a whirlwind for the next year or two; but now he's rich, he's famous, he's a national hero for the most part; and it might have all gone to his head and he thinks he doesn't have to train seriously to fight someone he beat the **** out of before.

Isn't it Pac suppose to be the team captain for Philippines for tonights Boxing World Cup? How could Pac do this to his team & his country? Those Filipino fighters are counting on him to be there for moral support... tsk.tsk.tsk... look at him, he turned into a selfish spoiled brat!

He seemed to peak emotionally for Morales II, in early 2006. Since then, he's looked good against Morales, but not really dominant against anyone else. And all these distractions have to catch up to him at some point.

i hope pacman gets a wakeup by losing to barerra....

you cant sign two contracts...run of congress...keep changing your camp and showing up late...while boxing.

but it's not exactly like he's fighting a young barerra, but i wish barerra the best.

it's not right for the fans, it's not fair to the sport. and i'm sick of pac nuthuggers.

i feel morales was shot by the time they fought, and still he lost the first decision.

Solis? He fought a guy who was 9-3 before Pac fought him.

He's not fighting the caliber he was fighting, and its all gone to his head. it bothers me.

This reminds me, to a lesser extent, of Mike Tyson in the late 1980s. Losing focus and losing hunger.

Seriously WTF is wrong with this guy? he was suppose to be the team captian of team philippines and now this? PAC is fast becoming a brat... i can sense that he has somewhat lost that hunger, very sad... I'd say start betting on Marco BIG.

Pac is just going through the trials and tribulations of being a champion. He will soon be on the tail end of his career, rich and famous, and it will take more to keep focused and maintain his greatness. When he was the hungry up and comer he had a level of ferocity that was unmatched, but if you have watched boxing long enough you know that its hard to keep it over a long career.

Soon he will be fighting fighters on the upswing of their careers and they will be gunning for his head. This is where the rubber meets the road.

Welcome to the second half of your carreer Pac! :good

You guys are making too boig of a deal out of this, the same stuff happened with Pacquiao right before the Morales 3 fight and before the Solis fight.

Pacquiao is still training just not where Freddy Roach wants him to train at (wildcard gym), i wont be surprised if Pacman beats Barrera he'll dump Roach.
