I think MGM shouldn't have done that, it was almost deliberate to get Arum angry. I also think Arum was perhaps a bit too sensitive about it but Arum is Arum and MGM surely knew this was going to get him angry.

there is bad blood between TR and MGM and i think Richard Strum could've shown more respect. The guy comes across as a mobster, that hair is ridiculous too :)

This thing about Manny not being welcomed is pathetic. Of course it's Arum saying it so we should take it with a grain of salt but i'm sure Richard Strum is not showing much warmth or openly inviting Manny...

What's that got to do with whether pacquiao is welcome at the MGM?

If I don't want to go somewhere because I don't like the place it has nothing to do with not being welcome there. Do you understand the meaning of the term 'not welcome'?

Floyd got the most important things: Ref, judges and NSAC.

Feeling you're not welcome somewhere because the place advertised an upcoming event...Seems like they're being pretty childish to me.

Floyd lives in the MGM. Rematch might as well take place at Pac's mansion in the Philippines.

It's Pac-Bradley fight night and Floyds banners/posters hanging all over the place. Team Pac was offended by that.

floyd paid for those posters and he keeps a good relationship with the mgm....to the victor goes the spoils...whining about it shows a woman like nature

Algieri? Really? Pacquiao has been in plenty of huge fights. De la Hoya was every bit a draw as a "Mayweather fight" and Pac handled that just fine. Ellerbe is just as bad as Arum in this idiocy of words. I think the Mayweather people believe this is just another opponent of similar stature as the rest of his fights and fail to understand Pac doesn't need to grovel to the level of other "B Side" fighters.

A Pac fight has almost been at the same level as a Mayweather fight; their PPV over the last decade haven't been that far apart. Ellerbe is just being idiotic

Kind of messed up for the fans, really. It's hard to diminish a huge event like this. But, they are certainly trying.

Well you have to weigh the con of no Pacquiao autograph or handshake against the pro of no balut farts.
