Haha. Well, even if he just shat in his pants...he should be there for the fans. If it's really all about the fans.

    Don't front.

I know you care about when the last time he ate late term aborted duck fetus was and when he last got a haircut and who gave him that haircut and if he and Jinkee have s3x while he's training and if he has s3x with more than just Jinkee while he's training and what his approval rates are among the Filipino people and what his favorite sour candy is... etc. etc. Don't front now.

Besides didn't all this stuff get easily rationalized?

MGM officials came out and said that Mayweather Promotions paid to rent out advertising space at the MGM.

No different than if Microsoft or Wal Mart or Chipendales did the same thing.

There is nothing remotely wrong with any of that.

Sounds to me like Arum was just upset that he hadn't thought of it himself.

Has any one looked into this? This has very little to do with the Floyd advertisement. It has to do with Arum not being happy with the gate/ticket split, closed circuit split. It was said that they (MGM) don't want to be fair on the splits, so he won't have Manny contribute towards promotion.

I don't know exactly what splits were but according to reports, he wanted a bigger share of the gate/tickets which he didn't get so then he tried to argue the splits on the closed circuit splits. I think circuit was 85/15 split when its normally 80/20.

Here goes some info for the lazy, a basic short summarization. Seems arum was just trying to squeeze a few more millions.

"MGM was very very close to just saying no to the fight all together. Then Arum wanted a higher percentage of the closed circuit tickets when they were already getting more than they normally get for closed circuits. Usually its an 80/20 split (80 to promoter, 20 to the casinos), for this fight its 85/15....they wanted even more."

Pacquiao and his 100 hanger-ons can cram into a 7 by 10 ft. tent in a back alley for all I care. He just better have his ass in the ring on May 2.

As mad as Arum wants to be. He has to give it up to Floyd for his business practices. The man knows how to make money. If Arum wasn't so past his prime(20 years past retirement age) he would have saw this coming and handled it accordingly. But these days he chooses to gripe and whine like child. I'd guarantee Arum was doing things like this while he was making his way to the top of the boxing business.

Most of the disputes I think are too drum up more interest in the fight. The no ticket contract and all the other BS has been in the news and been good free advertising.

But I agree if all this **** isn't to drum up sales no way a second fight gets made. Everyone involved hates each other.

:werd: Ellerbe needs to go back and suck floyds johnson some more.

Pac isn't that far behind may in PPV sales.

I can't believe you fools are buying into to this. Pac is staying at a hotel own by MGM. So how the f*ck is it a boycott? This is nothing but PR stunt.
