No, his best weight is at 140. He's devastating at that weight.

Why wouldn't you try and get the fight nearer to the weight you know you feel great and comfortable at? What's wrong with that?

If he wants the WW title he should fight at the weight the champion is comfortable with, and beat him at that weight.

Seems like an easy solution has been here all along.

PBF is forcing JMM above 140 where he doesn't belong.

Pacquiao is trying to force Mosley or Cotto below 147 where they do not belong.

We are just making the wrong matchups.

JMM should fight Pacquiao at 140 and PBF should fight Mosley or Cotto at 147.

JMM vs PBF isn't going to sell well anyway and MP fighting Mosley or Cotto below 147 is bull and at 147 is apparently too risky.

Then should they win Pacquiao and PBF can figure out the weight and decide who is really the best in the ring and not have people trying to figured it out in the forums.

See I don't think it matters for these two anywhere between 140 and 147. Assuming (and nobody but team mayweather would know) PBF can still make 140 anything from 140 to 147 makes sense and neither would be at a disadvantage unlike these other matchups currently being discussed. They are both strong jr. welters and small welters so whatever weight is possible will work and they will both be in prime shape for a great matchup.

I think you're contradicting yourself, my friend. You said Marquez felt he deserved more money but he opted to fight another fighter for so little money. Had he known all along that he could only get a bigger pay by fighting Pacquiao? How much did get fighting aside from John, Jandaeng, Jaca, old man Barrera, and Juarez? This is not about principle but plain stupidity.
