Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is already satisfied with what he has achieved inside the boxing ring, even if he does not fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Pacquiao, who is training for his upcoming bout against Juan Manuel Marquez, was informed that Mayweather does not feel the need to fight Pacquiao.

“I don’t need him either,” said Pacquiao.

Mayweather defeated Victor Ortiz last September 17 to remain undefeated and capture the WBC welterweight belt.

“I’m satisfied with all my accomplishments in my boxing career,” Pacquiao said. “I have no problem if the fight doesn’t come to fruition”

Pacquiao also commented on Mayweather’s victory.

“It was okay, all Mayweather did was legal,” said the fighting congressman. “But he doesn’t have the value of sportmanship”

“I think Ortiz was trying to be nice but Mayweather didn’t think of him as his friend,” Pacquiao added. “Ortiz is also to be blamed”

I doubt Pac knows the word fruition, nevermind using it in a sentence.

    your interview is completely fabricated.

I don't think either side cares much.

Floyd can still make a shitload of money facing guys like Ortiz and Khan who have a much lesser chance of taking his 0 than Manny does.

I would guess that Manny is rather indifferent, he may want it more than Floyd, but Arum on the other hand....

Like with Floyd, Manny's fights with much easier opposition still sell like hotcakes.

When the testing issues are "resolved", something else will probably come up.

The fight is unlikely to happen until there is no more milking left to do.

You ask Pacquiao what 'fruition' means and he'll tell you it's a kind of fruit.

OMG PACQUIAO IS DUCKING MAYWEATHER!! THIS IS PROOF. No seriously though, I was just acting like a ******* to illustrate how stupid they are.

When they talk about "not needing each other" they are speaking in regard to finances and putting on big events. Neither of these guys are scared of the other.

I've said it since 2009... Bob Arum is the one holding up the fight. When Arum decides he wants to make the fight, the fight will be made and not a second sooner.

PBF fans, get over it, PAC wins or loses...he doesn't care since he's been in that road...and can live with his accomplishments, while PBF's "0" seems to be his only care....but there are others like Calzaghe, MArciano that's done that....

of course he would say that. when posed with a threat, they come out with reasons not to fight him. same thing happened when guzman was at 130.

Niether guy needs the other. They can both make 20 mill plus fighting low risk fights. As long as people are stupid enought to pay for their garbage fights there is no need for them to face each other.

That is what most boxing fans cant see, they cant see what`s under their noses, especially *******s. All this "take the test", "Floyd is scared" novelette is a big load of bull****.

I can't believe anyone is still falling for this crap. How often have these interviews been coming out, from both sides. How often have fans been debating them.

You know, it's a soap opera, being run by Public Relations departments. Like politics.............

Come on. Get with the programme.

If Manny Pacquiao was seriously that keen on risking his career, at his financial peak, with Floyd Mayweather, he wouldn't be turning down, two, 50% deals, over stuff like drug testing demands.

    Vice versa with Mayweather.

Arum knows full well, Mannys got 2-3 more $20 million fights in him, against guys with no chance of winning.

    As does Mayweather.

As soon as both these guys are not making money boxing guys like Ortiz, and Clottey, they'll probably end up boxing..........
