I hope so that Pac comes in atleast 150. It's not fair for one fighter to have a huge weight advantage in the fight.

The biggest rehydration under Welter was done by Gatti, 20lbs flat

GMAN rehydrated 22lbs in one of his fights, but he was a drained big Middleweight

They usually show the weights so I will be shocked if Rios is over 165

If Rios, gets that big he will just be punching bag for Manny. He might end up being that anyway. Manny, looks good, I thought he could be smaller.

yet people want fighters like floyd to face middleweights or canelo who before he fought floyd rehydrated to 172. i agree its ****ing disgraceful, why cant we have same day weigh ins... bring everyone back to there natural weight class

Rios normally weighs around 152 at fight time but since he is at 147 now and not 135 it is possible he will be 160 to 162.

Rios was close to 165 against Alvarado.

So the fighter that weighed in lighter is the more legit WW fighter?
Since Rios is pretty sure to outweigh Pac by a huge margin and all your senseless allegations about Pac "dragging a fighter up" is gone, Rios even looking a bit dehydrated, this is the best you got?
That Pac is the real welterweight fighter even though his opponent will outweigh him more or less 10lbs on fight night?

The WEIGHT classes in boxing exist for WEIGHT differences. It doesn't factor awesomeness in a particular division before you can get to call that person a "legit" fighter on that weight class.
For all intents and purposes, Pac doesn't even rehydrate to WW standards. Yet he is the "real" welterweight.

God the stupidity in these boards is beyond me.

if pac is doing what these other boxers do in cutting weight he still would be a 140lb fighter, 135 at the most and if same day weigh in is implemented he would be the only legit welter left among the current ones.

this time, rios is coming from 147, at least 165 is a certainty.
