For those who missed it last week, this is the best footage I could find: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wlNOS_fFc8[/ame]
he does look good an he all ready looks better than he did at the bradley way in that makes me kind of think he didnt train as hard for that fight maybe he wasnt as motivated am not sure.
he sure didnt seem too interested by his performance. he dominated him but he could have done better i think if he was more intrigued no doubt
Watching sparring footage from 24/7 all I can say is.... looks the same as always... Marquez will counter him to death.
well i have seen him look better in training i think he is losing speed an explosivness but he is getting older.i just think he looks beter than he did for the bradley fight wich is a good thing i thought he won that fight but he didnt look the same as he normaly does an when he weighed in at 147 i thought he didnt train as hard as he could of cuz he never normaly weighs in on the limit.
the thing that gets me about the bradley fight is i think if he was motivated an put the effort in or if it was a couple years earlyer he would have forced the stopage.but he was to good for bradley anyways.
The 24/7 footage was from early in training. He and Marquez should be in peak shape right now. There's more to the open workout that isn't show there , he went pretty hard on the mitts towards the end.
I noticed the same thing, Tho it may have to do with Roach slowing down. (Noticed Manny tapping his head between combo's like "hurry up" in that footage of his open training session) His calves are massive!!!
There's no question that he slowed down . His last 4 fights are evidence of that. He looked at half speed vs Bradley.
I heard they also showed the Footage of Gabe Montoya vs Alex Ariza in times square, anyone have it? I guess Gabe's years of training in several disciplines really paid off.
