This may be true, but if the 2 continue as they are now Floyd will only rise further above Pac. Pac is stuck at top rank, How can he rebound when the only respecable opponents at 147 fight for GBP. He has so few options with top rank. Pick the rematch is his game now. JMM or Bradley. or keep fighting b level fighters like Rios.

As far as greatness goes, yes, but that's not the question. The question is who is better, and Floyd is clearly the better fighter of the two.

other than floyd, bradley and jmm would beat everybody that gbp has from 140-147.

...and pac has nothing left to prove.

flyweight to 147 and took on all comers...4 lineals, 8 belts in eight division, fighter of the decade.

    homeless street vendor to multimillionare.

his legacy in boxing is beyond reproach.

Well if that is true he should retire now. Why continue to lose or fight second class fighters and Tarnish such a legacy as you say he has. I'm not sure that Pac would beat Matthysse or Broner and he may not even beat Garcia.

he should but he doesn't want to.

the scary pac that floyd described on his rant is gone.

Thats the problem some guys just don't know when to quit. I just would hate to see Pac turn out like Mosley. Mosley was a champ and now he is a second tier gatekeeper at best. It's just sad.

Pac of course, most of who thinks Floyd is the best between the two are just Floyd fans.

I do think though that if the two ever did meet, the winner will go down as the better fighter.
Its a shame it'll probably not happen.
May's safety first comes as he's said in a few interviews. :/

Without a doubt Floyd. Both these men have broke records and made a name for themselves in the sport as well as history, but Floyd has shown with his longevity, skill and intellect that you can not only be a fighter, but the boss as well. He acheived what most fighters if not all would love to be. The Boss.

great post. If manny had done like floyd and taken control of his own career, he could have fought floyd by now and he definitely would not have Rios as his next BIG fight.:rofl
