OK.. Arguello then is the Man at 130. Pac today is the Man at 130. Sanchez became the Man at 126 after he beat Lopez & Gomez. Today Nobody's the mAN AT 126. Let's say JMM stays at 126 & Beaten by Linares, then Linares beat Vasquez who's moving up from 122. Now you can say that Linares is in the same level now as Chava back then. But still.. Pac is still the man coz he beat all the best fighters from 122-130. Same goes with Arguello at that time. Linares same as Chava then has still have somthing to Prove by beating the man. The difference Pac actually accomplished this. Chava didn't.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

.......and coming from guy in PacDbest that scored the JMM-Pac rematch a draw on first viewing, and then later ammended his scorecard on second viewing to make himself feel better!

 When PacDbest sees Pac in a draw vs anybody, do we even have to guess who he really thinks won the fight?

I really hate the disrespect for boxers from stupid fans. Pac fanatics are the most low brow of them all, not Pacquaio fans, just these guys who are only interested in Manny Pacqauio.

All of those dumbasses picking Pac over Sanchez and then downgrading the very fine fighters that Sanchez beat are doing nothing but disrespecting a bunch of truly incredible athletes here, it's sickening.

Sal Sanchez was the real ****ing deal, not some brought along hype job/overrated, overhyped joke. Not putting that on Pac, but they almost bring their guy to that level.

Pac's elite, but very fortunate to have such a stylistic advantage over MAB to begin with, or he wouldn't even be in the discussion on this level.

The guy didn't beat Marquez, on two occassions, got bailed from a loss on two occassions due to incompetent judging. Lost to a shot Morales, loses to a prime Morales 10/10 times and loses to virtually any multi-dimensional ATG around the weight class.

Sal Sanchez isn't some 1 dimensional fighter with a very strong 1 dimension that carries him to the elite level, he's a highly skilled incredible fighter that would make short work of Manny Pacquaio.

I really dislike these low brow, bottomfeeding, idiot Pac fanatics.

    That's a very valid point.

I think the same holds true when you ask nuthuggers about fantasy fights.

Take, for example, Mayweather nuthuggers. They'll have no problem saying Floyd dominates Hatton and dominates Cotto. I take this as they really believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that Floyd wins. But when you ask them about Thomas Hearns or Sugar Ray Leonard, they'll tell you it would be close, but Floyd's adaptability would give him the edge.

In those instances, you know what they're really thinking:good

That guy Fitzgerald said that Jose Luis Castillo has better movement and defence than Shane Mosely, in defence of Floyd.

    I found that amusing.

    Dont lose your cool Amsterdam.
You've got to remember that in alot of these threads, you're dealing with Pac fanatics, not so much boxing fans.

.....now if it was a vote for Pac coming from an all around poster like brooklyn, by all means, lose you top!:fire

    Where's mine?

Tell us about LaPorte, Gomez, and even Nelson. Tell us something about the way they fought, how skilled they were, how they were viewed within teh context of that era. Not popularity, but skill...
