I believe that this fight is going to be made regardless. The amount of coverage that it has gotten in mainstream media channels like ESPN would not have come if the contract signing process was as smooth as usual.

If I'm wrong and this fight does not happen and this is the issue that breaks it, it would be 100% ridiculous.

From Pacquiao's point of view, he's being disrespected by Mayweather and his team and for a guy who is

, it's threatening the very thing Pacquiao fights for - national pride and honor. Even if he takes the blood tests and passes them, a losing performance against Mayweather would still leave questions regarding his previous outings; after being completely dominant for the last 2-3 years, some people will say that he lost because he wasn't allowed to juice. I understand his anger.

From Floyd's perspective, he's never seen anything like Pacquiao, and neither has anyone else. It's a little fishy that a guy who had wars at featherweight would fight the top guys several weight-classes north and not face a true challenge. Seeing Pac dominate Cotto and DLH, even more so than he did David Diaz raises an eyebrow.

Several steroids have been designed to elude urine tests and can only be detected through blood tests random in nature.

But I feel for Pacquiao. Unless he takes the blood tests and wins, he won't be looked at in the same light he has been. Albeit, his primary fan base is loyal, those not so attached to him will doubt his legacy.

and it would have dismissed the allegations. Now he has to win this fight to maintain his legacy.

The one thing that does make me question this whole situation is that a BOXER is saying that losing blood before a fight would drastically affect the fight. I can't see a boxer believing that losing a small amount of blood during the lead up to a fight,
