I wouldn't look past the next 2-3 years. A lot can happen to change the possible candidates.

This is what Arum has planned.

    Pac-Mosley.
    Pac-Margarito/Cotto II (winner).
    Pac-Margarito/Cotto II (loser).
    Pac-Clottey II.
    Pac-Mosley II.
    Pac-Mayweather?/Margarito III/Cotto III/Mosley III/Clottey III.

I hope Pacquiao has different plans.

Wow 6 fights if things go well for him he can retire the best ever, but i dont think that will happen mainly because floyd will have something to do with that

of course arum would want pacquiao to fight on since pac would make him more money. but the thing is, we are not sure until when will pac's body will hold-up? remember he started boxing as a pro when he was 16 (before that he was boxing as a child in town fiestas) so he already had 16 years of professional ring age with a style not suitable for longetivity like floyd and bhop.

i hope pac would retire soon since there is nothing for him to prove. yes he could earn more money but with the way he fights, he would not be safe with all the detrimental effects of boxing for his health. this is arum just trying to milk pacquiao as much as possible until he is of no use to him. this time, pac should listen to his mother.

Damn. No there's a born fighter. This guy has achieved everything he possibly could have in his career (only one significant fight left for him), is up there with the richest boxers in history, has secured his future outside the ring as a congressman in his native Phillipines, yet he still wants to fight a few more years. Gotta love it, but that's not very wise of him.

In an ideal world 3-4 fights is about right.

    Mosley
    Mayweather
    Mayweather II (if viable)
    Some easy farewell fight

Your name shows how little you know about boxing. Floyd barely scrapes the top 70 you mong.
