Marquez has the right to ask for it but Manny has the right to reject it. Considering the fight just had a decisive ending and both men showed courage in facing each other multiple times, I can understand if they don't feel the big money split is worth it.

 

Someone needs to tell Pac, that he doesn't necessarily want to get in there with Marquez almost immediately after getting his soul snatched like that.

This is complete BS! Pac lost. If he WANTS to avenge getting knocked stupid? He takes 50%. If he doesn't want to fight he DUCKS. Splitting 50/50 with the man who knocked you silly is the LEAST Pac can do. He is lucky that is even being considered!

Most negotiations are heavily influenced by leverage and Marquez has it here IMO.

Reasons:

- He doesn't need the money (though who doesn't want more)
- Most fight fans feel that their rivalry has been decisively concluded with Marquez the winner
- He'd rather win a belt at 147 and become a 5 division champion

All in all, 50/50 seems fair to me even though Pac brings more money to the table.

We aren't getting a Pac/Marquez 5 if he sticks to his 50% demand. I personally think it's Marquez' way of telling TR to **** off with the Pac fight, as he's already said he doesn't want it.
