Pacquiao responds to critics: I Am No Superman

    "Several people say that this fight (Mosley) will be easy- those expert writers that from day one never really believed in the capabilities of a small Filipino. Ever since I started winning against bigger opponents, they have simply found ways to further discredit us. They say this is going to be an easy fight that's why they call it 'garbage', according to one influential writer whom I think has never experienced being in a real fight or put on gloves and wraps around his hands. They say fans can answer by not buying low quality fights like how they asked for people to boycott my previous fight with Margarito whom they call a cheater."
    The BWAA Fighter of the Decade then continued and wrote,
    "There is never an easy fight. Every time I step into the ring, I risk my life and my future. I had to find ways to negate the advantages in size of Diaz, Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. I have stepped up to face men easily bigger and taller than me. To say that every fighter I face in the ring does not deserve attention talks about ignorance. How can a fight be easy when I have been working my hardest efforts every single time? I am no Superman. When I get hit, I pretend I don't get hurt so as to frustrate my opponent. That's part of the sacrifice!"

    well rafael called it a "terrible" fight on sportscenter, and i believe detloff called the fight an "abomination" on ringtv

    well in fairness to Pac and to all boxers....all fights are hard,any boxer could get caught by a lucky punch that can even create permanent damage....it must be irritating for them to be criticize by a person who has not even wore gloves ever in their life....or tasted a real fight.....
    that's why great critics / trainers are former boxers because they know what it takes and feel to be in the ring
