Really excited about this one. Hard one to predict. How do you see the fight going?

    1. Watching Rios get his face crushed is not exciting
    2. It's not hard to predict - Pac is going to brutalise him
    3. How do I see it going? a one way beat down where Rios gets his face rearranged or TKO'd

I am not excited about this at all. Rios will get the life beat out of him, and I expect Pac to look dominant. It is a tailor made opponent for him. Pac will stop him in under 8 rounds. Rios is just a Margarito without the plaster. Pac has faced Rios style and dominated... Rios hasn't even come close to what is left of Pac.

    I see it differently.
Rios is an underrated fighter for one, two he ain't afraid of nobody and we simply don't know what we'll get from Manny Pacquiao at this point or whether he'll ever again be able to harness the skills that made him great.

This makes it sound like you get all your boxing knowledge from the newspapers and online articles. Rios being underated and unafraid doesnt mean a damn thing when it comes to fighting someone who is levels better than him and who has the perfect style for his style.

    Pacquiao stoppage before the 10th.

This isn't the Pacquiao that rolled Oscar. Pacquiao lost two fights on the bounce and Marquez nearly killed him. Rios can box and counter better and has a better defense than he's given credit for and he's every bit as rough and tough as pacquiao. Add to that his youth, his hunger and his power and it makes for a more interesting fight than it might have been.

It just really seems like youre getting your ideas from some soundbites that you've encountered here and there. As in, it seems totally uninformed. The fact that Rios's biggest advantage is that he is "rough and tough" is a huge disadvantage for him, because Pacquiao eats rough and tough fighters for lunch, and Pacquiao himself is rougher and tougher than Rios anyway. Rios' youth obviously means nothing because Pacquiao has more stamina, handspeed and footspeed than rios anyway (the usual benefits of youth).

In fact there is no a single thing (power, speed, stamina, versatility, mental strength, footwork, defence, offence, combinations, angles, reach etc) that Rios does better than a 2013 version of Pacquiao.

Pacquiao of the last Marquez fight is 10x greater than Rios, and has the perfect style for him. Rios is gonna get eaten alive on the 23rd.

Sure Pacquiao has/had the style to be effective against Rios but this isn't going to be the same Pacquiao of old. His killer instinct hasn't looked the same in recent fights, his speed has slowed and his defence has always been rocky. You can list all the fighting attributes you want, as a fighter and historian myself i'd like to think I understand the game pretty well and if Rios can land punches which I think he can its going to be a tough one for Pacman this is what i'm saying.
    '10x greater than rios'
How exactly do we go about measuring greatness times ten?
    We'll find out soon.

This is a cherry pick plain and simple. But, it could be another cherry pick gone wrong. As soon as Rios lost to Alvarado, Manny was calling Arum I want to fight him for the fans.
