Pacquiao + Roach + Perfect Game Plan = No PEDs

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BenjaminLinus, Nov 15, 2010.

  1. Pac stuck to the game plan with the exception of the few times he wanted to bang with Margarito, and it worked perfectly. During 24/7, Pac and Roach made clear what they were gonna do... and it HAPPENED in the fight.

Plan 1: Pac said that he would use uppercuts on Margarito:

Result: Fourth Round - a brutal left uppercut tore Margarito's cheek open and cracked his orbital bone

Plan 2: Roach said that they were working on Pacquiao's right, and that Pacquiao could stop Margarito with his right hand:

    Result:

Ninth round. Margarito grins at Pacquiao. Pacquiao lands a crushing, brutal right hand on Margarito as he was coming in. Margarito is badly stunned and backs off. This punch takes the fight out of Margarito. This was the last time Margarito smiles in this fight.

You could say that the uppercut changed the tides and the right hand erased all but fragments of Margarito's chances.

it was a good win for Pac, but not a legendary win over a great. Margarito was beaten by Shane 2 fights ago. Knocked out.

  3. Shane Victory

Margarito knocked out because he was exhausted, killed himself to make weight, and was mentally unprepared. Margarito smiled and looked embarrassed afterward. Attended post-fight conference.

    Pacquiao Victory

Margarito came in at 165, and was in the shape of his life. Pacquiao cracked his orbital bone and sent him to the hospital. No press conference, no sheepish grin, but he is scheduled for surgery tomorrow.

Both Mosley and Pacquiao destroyed Margarito, Margarito however did manage to hurt Pacquiao badly on one occasion, Mosley thuroughly demolished him, wrecked him. Pacquiao was smaller in comparison to Margarito than Mosley was though, but styles makes fights and Margarito suited Mosley.

****ing canuck. Idiot had "confidence" in Margarito to beat up on Pac and the grade school drop-out calls Pac a *****.

Leave it to a *****. Check that. Leave it to a homo.

    Again, check that. I don't even think you're a *****. You're just a ****ing hater.

Margarito walked in straight lines towards Pac the entire fight with zero head movement and virtuoso footwork, it really was a tough fight for Pacquiao and Freddie Roach came up with the perfect game plan.

Mosely thrives on straight-ahead guys, so yeah, that and the size lead to the KO. Let's face it though, most people think that fight should have been stopped around the 9th round, but a lot of people thought Margarito deserved a real beating for cheating, so there.
