If he hasn't already. I said at least since Sweet Pea, which meant to say better than Roy, better than Floyd, better than (as much as it pains me to admit) Hopkins, too.
Then he better try Cotto. He's the easiest to hit of the three and probably has the shakiest chin out of the three. If he ****s with PBF he will be embarassed. If he ****s with Shane he will die.
Understandably, Some of you are getting carried away with this win! Pac jumped to a whole new level but he is still behind fighters like Whitaker and Chavez. The Hatton victory is great, but as good as his last 3 fights look on paper there really is not much substance on his resume above 130.
word? demolished 135lb champ?, demolished THE 140lb champ, and demolished 154lb legend at 147 in a fight which was label a circus and mismatch.........you're a ****in idiot my freind if you beleive that, end of story
Manny's better then Roy Jones because he beat Hatton lol. Do you know what Roy did to fighters like Hatton? He beat there ass, not only did he beat there ass, he freestyle rapped while doing it. Get the **** out of here with that ****.
achievement wise im leanin towards paq. those victories over mab and moralis are quality wins over two atgs. his two losses to marquez ill give him slack on, but he still hung with him well enough that he could get 2 gifts. roy has two great wins in hopkins(till this day hopkins feels the only person he lost to is roy) and the thrashing of a prime james toney. i agree with whoever said manny dared to be great, he is a fearless sob at his prime weight classes. roy, not so much in this department. where roy surpasses him and every boxer to have ever laced em up is the talent department. his actual career achievements however are not up to par with mannys IMO
what the hell is with your avy man? I don't want talking **** right now but ill say it anyway. It makes me feel BAD
Roy Jones was the better fighter @ his peak but Pacman will go down top 15 Top 10 ATG because of his achievments. Roy was the best fighter ive ever seen @ his peak (sorry was not alive to see Robinson etc)
I was a huge Jones fan but clearly Pacquiao is the better P4P fighter. While Jones won most of his biggest fights, he was not as dominant in those fights as he was in "regular" fights. Manny's best performances came against his best opposition. That same trait puts him above Oscar, as well.
What the hell are you talking about? Jones dominated Hopkins and dominated Toney. He knocked Toney down in route to a shut decision, 2 fighters pound for pound better then anyone Manny has ever fought, including Marquez who he never decisively beat and actually lost more rounds to then won.
WOW, lol talk about being prisoners of the moment. Pac better than RJ p4p? I have heard it all now. Hatton now propels him into a top 15 spot? Really I like to watch Pac fight, but some of you fans make it hard 2 like dude. It is absolutely ridiculous
